Activity Introduction:
During the exhibition "Presence and Absence—Nature in French and Chinese Landscape Gardens", the museum launched the course "Mustard Seed Garden". During the exhibition period from January 12, 2018 to March 17, 2018, mustard seed garden course will be held every weekend at 2:00 PM, and three teachers, Yang Jiecang, Zeng Yongtao and Hu Jie, will be invited to give guidance to participants.
Yang Jiecang, an artist, arranged 25 sets of old desks with the theme of "Mustard Seed Garden". The museum provided ink, paper and inkstone. Visitors were guided by the artist himself or two teachers designated by the artist to copy and create. Yang Jiecang, an artist, draws 30 copies of "Mustard Seed Garden" and hangs them on the exhibition wall. People can take down the ones they like from the wall and copy them. The finished works can also be mounted on the wall after selection and become a part of the whole work. The work is the classroom with strong interaction, everyone's participation process is also a part of the work.
Activity process:
1. Visit the exhibition hall in depth to understand the exhibition "With me and Without Me -- Nature in French Landscape Architecture and Chinese Landscape Architecture".
2. The artist himself or two teachers designated by the artist will guide visitors in copying.
