On September 25, 2019 (Wednesday) from 16:40-17:40, an art lecture series was held on the second floor of the Office of Box Art Museum of OCT: The Growth Path of Young Artists -- Creation, Cognition and Cooperation.  

The term "young artist" is somewhat idealistic. It is positive to choose to start an adventure for art when you are young and talented.  But we should also understand the reality behind this choice. 

The three artists presented in this workshop are at this stage -- transforming from students to artists in the system.  A series of questions one after another, how to find their own creative path?  How to keep a proper distance from art history and other theoretical knowledge and nourish creation?  How to form cooperation with various institutions and curators and establish connections with the art system?  Based on these issues, The Box Museum has specially invited Dr. Wu Yangbo, a scholar of art management, and Huang Yishan, a representative artist of the post-80s generation. The two speakers will share their views;  After that, three participating artists, Mr. Kung Shi-yiu, Mr. Tsang Yu-hung and Mr. Joseph Tsang, will participate in the discussion.  Hope to form a more constructive discussion beyond the exhibition.
