OCT Box Art Museum is a non-profit public welfare organization wholly-owned by OCT Guangdong and operated and managed by the planning group of the oil painting department of Guangzhou Academy of fine arts. Fan Bo is the curator, Zhou Li is the art director, and Liu Ke is the executive curator. Since its opening on September 28, 2017, the Art Museum has been committed to integrating regional and international resources and presenting an international high-level art form; Relying on the research and teaching platform of the Academy of fine arts, the local traditional characteristics and modern development of Shunde, it combines art exhibition, public exchange and local culture to promote local, social and international art practice and culture.
For public welfare art museums, they should have internationally recognized "three characteristics" institutions for collecting and displaying fine arts, hubs for organizing art academic research, and cultural activity centers for serving the public. After four years of precipitation, OCT Box Art Museum has embarked on a road with its own uniqueness.
On the fourth anniversary of OCT Box Art Museum, we sincerely invite Professor Zhang Zhian, Deputy Dean of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Development Institute of Sun Yat-sen University, and Director of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Communication Research Center of Sun Yat-sen University, China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, to discuss the topic "Art Museum: urban cultural soft power of the bay area" with the curators of art museums in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Dawan district and the leaders of the publicity departments of Foshan and Guangzhou governments.Strengthen the linkage between the art galleries of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, jointly drive the artistic creation atmosphere and creative development of Guangdong, jointly present more diversified artistic and cultural display, education and communication, and jointly promote the artistic and cultural ecological development of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
