Ten Thousand Doors，Ma Dongyang

This artwork abstracts the notion of ‘doors’, using light to shine upon dark night spaces, giving the feeling of ten thousand lanterns lighting up front stoops in the night. In my memory, all lit lanterns are linked up with one another, stringing ordinary days together. These lanterns all light upon one another, around us to the outskirts of the city.
