My Sculpture Diary,Chen Kancheng

This artwork is a reflection of everything I saw and thought in a given period of time. I take direct perception and abstract it out of the concrete, becoming the principle part of a sculpture, returning then to the formative idea. It is a working deconstruction of nature’s object-image, re-molding or displacing signature ideas in original structures. I have never stuck around long anywhere in the arts. Rather, I am always searching for myself in space, in material and visual psychological space
