Triumphant Forest Stream I,He Tao

Using landscape elements to inform my artwork, I seek to create a feeling of ‘mountains and rivers’ while also obtaining another sensibility. This other sensibility also derives from the rediscovery, re-imagining and re-interpreting of traditional cultural representations of ‘mountains and rivers’. This requires a new mode of expression to bring together contemporary experiences of ‘mountains and rivers’.
