Artist

Tan Jingcong, young artist and curator. His research focuses on cross-media, exploring how to interact with contemporary human, technological and social contexts to stimulate innovative thinking and form effective cultural models.

He received his master's degree from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2021. In the period of 2018-2019, he won the National Scholarship for postgraduate students. In 2018, the "Shunde Style Chinese Painting Art Research and Creation Project" he planned was shortlisted for the Guangdong Provincial Art Fund (HAF) Youth Public Art funding program. In 2019, with the support of Lingnan Painting School Memorial Hall and Pearl River Art Museum, he planned the "Water Vein - Lingnan Shunde Style Works Exhibition". His work covers painting, video, stage design, public art and major exhibition planning.

In recent years, Jingong has focused on exploring the expression of individuals in today's world, striving to combine the clear and rich poetic interest in painting with the current human landscape to carry out practice, activate the collision of traditional aesthetics and modern technology, and carry out new interpretation and dialogue through the artistic language of new media.
