This project explores the social attributes of color from a sociological perspective, positioning color as a kind of buoy. As the title suggests, the work draws inspiration from maritime buoys and fishing floats. Buoys are often used to mark waterway boundaries, serving as warnings of danger, while also signaling the catch of prey. In terms of the social character of color, it is often more complex and tense than the realm of personal inner feelings. Colors participate in communication, trade, and vigilance; they are dazzling, seductive, and linked to traps. They establish the order and induce the ecstasy. Therefore, from the observer's perspective, the author suggests viewing color as a buoy for human behavior rather than as an end in itself.
