Wang Sishun

Artist

Wang Sishun was born in Wuhan in 1979, graduated from C.A.F.A in 2008, now living and working in Beijing. His work have been shown in Asian Art Biennial,Taichung,Taiwan; Thailand Biennale, Krabi, Thailand; Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, Echigo-Tsumari, Japan; The Yinchuan Biennale, Yinchuan, China; Ural Biennale, Yekaterinburg, Russia; Asia Triennial Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom. His works were exhibited in Foundation Salomon, Annecy, France; Georgian National Gallery, Tbilisi, Georgia; Cass Sculpture Foundation, Sussex, Britain; Kunsthaus Graz, Graz, Austria; Daimler Contemporary Berlin, Berlin, Germany; Borusan Contemporary, Istanbul, Turkey; Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing, China; National Art Museum of China, Beijing, China; Luigi Pecci Centre for Contemporary Art, Prato, Italy. He won the nomination of Huayu Youth Award in 2015 and ACC Grant in 2016.

He An

Artist

He An, born in 1970 in Wuhan, and studied in the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts. His practice covers various media, often combining industrial materials to create site-specific installations filled with narrations.
He presented solo exhibitions worldwide including: Australian Center for Contemporary Art (2017), Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (2009), Daniel Templon Galerie, Belgium (2011, 2014), Tang Contemporary Art (2015, 2011), Madin Gallery(2014, 2017), HdM Gallery(2015, 2019). He was also part of numerous major group exhibitions, such as: Art Changsha 2019, Overpop (Yuz Museum, Shanghai, China, 2016), Post Pop: East Meets West (Saatchi Gallery, London, U.K., 2014), Carnegie International (Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh, U.S.A., 2013), Rendez-Vous 2008 (Museum of Contemporary Art Lyon, Lyon, France, 2008), The Real Thing: Contemporary from Art China (Tate Liverpool, Liverpool, U.K., 2007), etc.

Liu Jianhua

Artist

Liu Jianhua was born in 1962 in Ji’an, Jiangxi Province. Since late 1980s, he started his experimental practices under the contemporary context. In 2008, he shifted his focus to “no meaning, no content”, which declared the fairly new exploration, and therefore has developed his own system of expression for contemporary art. Liu Jianhua is one of China’s best-known contemporary artists who experiment with comprehensive materials. His works have been exhibited at the international art exhibition of the 57th Venice Biennale and the 2nd Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, etc. Liu Jianhua’s works have been collected by public institutions including Tate Modern (London, UK) and MOMA (New York, US). The artist now lives and works in Shanghai, China.

Shen Ruijun

Curator

Ruijun Shen, artist and curator, received two MFAs from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Montclair State University respectively.  She has curated many successful shows at the Guangdong Times Museum, including ‘Gentle Wave in Your Eye Fluid- A Pipilotti Rist Solo Exhibition’ ( 2013), Chinese and Japanese Garden ( 2015), ‘Pulse Reaction II– A Discussion on Reality and Realism’ (2016) ,and ‘Polit-Sheer-Form!’ (2014) at the Queens Museum in New York. Shen has also co-curated the 6th Chengdu Biennale (2013). Shen was the chief curator of Guangdong Times Museum (2010-2017)and currently work as the chief curator for the New Century Art Foundation in Beijing and the program advisor in China for the Kadist Art Foundation in San Fansisco and Paris.
